Ok, I know we are set with Bledsoe and AVP for a few years, (2-3 for sure), but can anyone see us grabbing a QB thise year in the draft? I kinda can see it just because we have so much depth around most positions right now, (assuming we get the FA help that have recently visited). What do everyone else think? If you agree. Which QB can you see us getting and which round? I can see Jason Gesser at about 3-4 round. Possibly even later. This kid has serious heart. And being a Wazzu alumni, he and Drew have a match.

(also, Marcu Trufant is a Wazzu boy too.....just food for thought)

Any comment is cool. Give me your thought good or bad!!! (I'm a big boy, its cool LOL)

I think the Bill's might take Grossman or Boller and save the cap money on AVP, also a guard so they don't have to pay the big bucks to Rueben Brown...with so much depth TD will be thinking ahead

I think this year we need to add depth at other positions like FS, OLB, DE, WR, FB ect. Next years our year for the QB of the future.

how would we get our hands on rex grossman? si he slated to be that low on the board in the 1st round? From personal experience fellas-i saw the guy down here in gainesville play for 3 yrs and while talented he's a bit undersized (6ft.-1/2in.) and his decisionmaking is questionable at times---who knows???

We can not afford a QB draft this year. Defensive end, 3rd CB, LB and offensive line are priorities. Drew should have 3-5 years at least left in him and it doesn't make sense to have that draft pick waiting around that long. And then maybe go free agency.

I don't think we should Darft anyone. ;)

Next year it will be a priority in the draft. We will need Drew to renegotiate after 2004. TD likes to have leverage.

AVP is one of the most popular guys on the team. Back-up QBs often are. Dropping him for cap-space isn't a good idea for that reason alone. The Bills aren't hurting for cap space.

If drew came down with the flu and had to miss a game, (I don't want to think of anything worse happening) you'd be leaving the team in the hands of a 3-4th rdr or T Brown.

They can wait till next year, or not draft a QB ever, just make that a priority of FA when one is needed.

The latest Sporting News Pro Football draft has Green Bay selecting Grossman which would be after the Bills selection. So he should be available. His overall grade is 8.1 out of 9.0 which means franchise player. Granted this may not be the biggest need for next year but I can't think of a time like the current where there is no overriding position need and there is depth everywhere. I just view it as an opportunity because if they want a DE Cory Redding or DeWayne White should be there in the 2nd.

I just can't see a QB in the first round. Buffalo can pick up a developmental guy in the lower rounds (I like Jason Thomas) if they really felt that they needed one. There are still some holes in other spots that should be filled first.

No QB this year, unless it's a street FA brought in for training camp fodder.

I think if Jerome Mcdougle or Mike Haynes falls to us take either. If not and Kyle Boller (QB) is there I would take him in the 1st.

I'd like to see Ken Dorsey come to the Bills in a late round pick. Perhaps learning a bit under Drew would help him solve some of his problems, like decision making and moving around more efficiantly in the pocket. Best of all, he'll drop to the end of the draft so we don't have to waste a second or a third on a QB that may never be any good.
