I could see us maybe gettin a qb like, what if chris simms falls to the third? could anyone see us gettin him?:yikes:

Chris Simms is pettioning the NCAA for a 5th year of elgibility so he can try to beat Oklahoma!:gap:
Simms will go somewhere mid second round. Very unlikely to drop to the third but as I've posted elsewhere we already have the perfect backup QB and we are set there for years.

I like Kingsburry fom Texas Tech. 6 rd pick would be a steal for him. TT plays a pro O so not much of an adjustment for him.

Could we draft a QB? Yes. We could do anything we wanted. We could draft someone who we KNEW would not make the roster (as a QB wouldn't because of Bledsoe, van pelt and brown, bills are really high on these guys). Unless they plan on carring 4, which no one does. So in other words, no way do we draft one.

TD has shown that if someone they rate highly is available no matter the position they will make the selection. A QB could be picked. Now by making a pick like that it is not a slight of our existing QB's just the name of the game in the NFL.
