the answer to who we will pick up falls somewhere in between best player available and team needs. it will be the best player available at CERTAIN positions that are weak, i.e. DE and DB. so, here is a rather unconventional mock draft:

round 1:
Grab him if he's there - Andre Woolfork CB
2. Michael Haynes DE*
3. Dennis Weathersby CB
4. Jerome McDougle DE

round 2:
1. Bryant Johnson WR
2. Cory Redding DE
3. Sammy Davis CB*
4. Ken Hamlin FS

round 3:
1. Terrence Holt FS*
2. Kareem Kelly WR
3. Bennie Joppru TE

round 4:
1. Trent Smith TE*
2. LaBrandon Toefield RB
3. Quentin Griffin RB

round 5:
1. Sultan McCoullogh RB*
2. Brent Romberg C/G

round 6:
1. Brent Romberg C/G*

round 7:
1. BJ Askew FB*

* denotes most likely pick
(i don't think the Bills take a WR because they could land Qadry)

p.s. if they don't get Qadry, expect to pick up kelly in round 3. the guy is a burner.

Woolfolk is a very RAW CB. He has a tendency to jump on Double moves.

He is a great ST player. Blocks FG's very well.

Griffin - Great 3rd down back, fast, deceptive, great hands, very strong.

But he is very small.

Brent Romberg is a solid player long time starter.

Just say know to Trent Smith. He thinks very highly of himself, but his production dropped when he was in the spotlight.

I saw all of these guys play a total of about10 times last season.

I like your picks with the exceptions noted below. (BTW, just my opinion based on my reading of several draft pubs. I am no more qualified to assess these than anyone else here...)

4. Jerome McDougle DE

round 2:
1. Bryant Johnson WR
2. Cory Redding DE
3. Sammy Davis CB* - really like his write-ups!
4. Ken Hamlin FS - Guy has 2 DWIs - stay away.

round 3:
1. Terrence Holt FS* - only reason he is highly thought of is because of his brother. Might as well draft Jim Kelly's brother to play QB, too.
2. Kareem Kelly WR - not even a full time starter in college.
3. Bennie Joppru TE
