Jeff Faine has risen up the draft boards and might not be considered a reach now. I personally wouldn't be looking for a center in round one, but there are worse picks you could have made.
Clark and Holt are OK. I really like James Lee as a sleeper DT instead of Moore who was said to look "soft" in post season workouts. Hunt did some good things in college and might be a good value in R5.

i like holt because hes the best coverage fs in the draft, and hes a monster on ST blocked 8 feild goals and 4 punts in college. i just like moore because hes so big and can keep the blockers of fletcher, spikes, and posey.

Do you know how big James Lee is?
According to draftbook.com:
Rashad Moore 6'4" 295lbs. 5.10 in the 40 yd. dash
James Lee 6'5" 327lbs 5.01 in the 40 yard dash
James Lee is bigger and faster than Jimmy Kennedy, the highest rated DT in the draft. I think he is the biggest DT in the draft. In addition, at the combine James Lee performed well in lateral movement drills.

i thought that moore was bigger, but if lee is that big and fast i say get him. who did he play for i never heard of him?

Oregon State. He rotated with Eric Manning and another guy and didn't get the reps he might have because he was a junior college transfer and Manning was already an established starter when he arrived on campus. Some draft experts think he'll go higher than Manning though. Manning was productive in college but is downgraded because he's a little short.

I think Manning will go in four or five. Lee is probably a fourth rounder at this point because he has been so far under the radar screen lacking the glitzy stats because of limited playing time. He would definitely be a project player, but Buffalo can afford that with Sam Adams on the roster.

yeah i agree, thats why I dont think we need to get a D-lineman to early. im a little more worried about our OL, there OK right now but they still could improve and i think center is our weakest position and we have no depth. plus we need a threat at TE especially since peerless is gone, we have two solid ones now but there not threats. and free safety is our weekest position on the D.

I saw something that suggested Rashad Moore was bigger than draftbook.com lists him, so I looked on a site (robsscouting.com) that has combine #s. Lee is still bigger, but the difference isn't huge. The combine listed Moore as 6'3" and 324, Lee at 6'4.5" and 327. Moore did not run, Lee was timed at 4.89 in the 40. That's really fast for a big boy. In fact among the DTs who ran at the combine (11 out of 21) Lee was the fastest, beating Dan Klecko by .01 seconds.

sounds like a steal if he goes in the fourth. that is smokin for a big man

Running fast rimes at the combine says nothing about his toughness, his quickness, his work ethic, his determination to succeed, or his abilities to play football.
Lets not get too carried away by combine test results. Lee is not a top rated DT and there may be very good reasons for the low rating.

oh, i remeber i was just letting hopeful know that you dont have to be a top rated draft pick to make an impact on a team. if i remeber right erik flowers was a top rated end and he was a huge bust, tennesee picked up carlos polk in round 7 and he had 10 sacks last year as a rookie. just trying to make a point.
