Since the Sabres aren't participating this year, is there another team you'd root for to win the Stanley Cup ??

Being so close to Canada, because of the rivalry, and because I have several friends who are fans, I'll probably be rooting for the Leafs. What about you ??

I'll be rooting for Minnesota and Edmonton out west and Ottawa in the east.

And I'd love it if anyone can figure out the connection that those three teams have and why I'd root for them.......

I'm pretending that TB are the sabres this year. Other than that, Ottawa.

ottawa eh? how come? I have never liked ottawa, there lack of toughness has always pissed me off. oh, is it because of Ray?

I've never really been a Ray fan.

Actually, it started as a joke with me. When they first came into the league, I went out and got a hat and joked about their "5 year plan to the stanley cup" (anyone remember that one). But then I started enjoying watching a young team develop and having no expectations.

This of course is the way I plan to get through the Sabres season next year, low expectations.

Go Flyers. I would love to live in the town where the Sanley Cup goes.

Other than that, I'll root for whoever is playing against the Leafs!
