You are starting to see the rewards of our patience with Tim Connolly. The guy is playing on all lines and on all special teams. His play has improved 10 fold over the last 20 games. I hope that all you guys that gave up on him see that he is coming around.
Is there a better stick handler in the league??

He's approaching his a career-high in goals this season. He needs 3 more...

He's been criticised in the past for holding onto the puck too long, but now he's starting to look like he has the patience of Satan. He still needs a little work on finishing...

If he doesn't improve significantly by the end of next season I say get rid of him.

Connolly has been a monster lately. Really, I am impressed. He dominated the Leafs the other night. He and Afinogenov have been creating some great chances lately.....not to mention Briere, Dumont, Hecht & Satan.

What will the GM say???
"We traded Tim because this 22 year-old is passed him prime and cannot play in this league anymore. I just see no more upside."
Not gonna happen.

Connolly's played a little better lately, but he still is having all sorts of issues defensively. He up to a -27 now........

He's playing decently on the PP, and is being used later in close games. His defense has improved.

I thought I was the only one who thought Connelly's play has improved. I started to worry about myself. I really think Connelly has improved tremendously. He appears to be playing intelligently and more aggressively, go figure. I never thought I see or say that.

Good thing they don't base talent or roster spots on one nights play...
