I'll say it one more time. Doss is a great strong safety. He will make and average free safety at best. Buffalo has a second year player named Coy Wire playing strong safety. He had significant growing pains making a position switch, but he's a smart, hardnosed player that the Bills think will improve dramatically and be everything they want at SS. If the Bills want to waste the pick of Wire last year, they will pick Doss. I would have them pick Kenny Peterson who is available in this mock to the Bills. Buffalo has not sufficiently upgraded their line to this point. Kenny Peterson can play inside (under tackle) or outside (left defensive end). If Buffalo signs Sam Adams, they still need a solid every down left defensive end. No one else on the roster can fill that role. Ahanotu is a journeyman who didn't do a whole lot last year. McKenzie is a pass rushing specialist. Grant Irons showed a little potential last year but certainly is not starting caliber yet and may never be. Schobel is strictly a RDE. Jones was ineffective at LDE when he played there. Denney is at best a question mark. Office, if he's still here, runs over a 5 second 40. If you're as light as he is as a DE, you've at least got to be fast. He's a turtle. Peterson would be a stud.

If Faine was available and the Bills didn't sign him, I'd be very disappointed. The Oline has less depth than the D-line. That is a Fact.

You would have to take Kenny Peterson at that spot if he were available! Again as someone already pointed out that Mike Doss is a freaking SS Safety and we already have Coy Wire. You will see how I draft tomorrow for the Bills in the Mock Draft. Go Bills!
