Thought I'd start this to help out MOULDSROCKS keep track of trade offers/results.
(If I'm over-stepping my bounds, MOULDS, let me know and I'll kill the thread !):flush:
So far...
Mr Chimp (Cinci) wants to trade a third to YardRat (Pitt) for Kordell Stewart. (pending "league approval")
RaidersFan (Wash) wants to move a QB and a 4th to move up
gonzo1105 (Oak) wants to trade one of his #1's to move down into the second and pick up an extra third.
Any takers ??:D Any other offers ??

I'd be happy with whoever I choose here, but if the right offer came around I'd like to trade down with anybody that might be interested in Leftwich, Kennedy, Suggs, or Newman.
I don't really want to trade down any further then the Top 10, 15th at the most.
Value for the #4 pick
5-10 will cost a 3rd and a player
11-15 will cost a 2nd and 4th, or add an average player of need and I'll swap the 3rd and 4th round picks and then they'll have an earlier pick in the 3rd for giving up the 2nd.
I'll gladly take Leftwich, Kennedy, Suggs, or Newman here if I can't work out a deal with anyone. But if the price is right I'm willing to trade down.
I have a couple proposals right now, but not anything to entice me to trade away them players. Lets negotiate, just PM me.

Only the Bengals would trade a 3rd round pick for an overpriced backup QB that will be released in about a week anyway, lol

I would like to move up in the draft if anyone wants to move down to washington give me a pm and we will talk about a possible trade. I will give up anyone of my QB's. So the person i would trade with would probably need a qb

These trade proposals look like something you'd see on Madden. Hell, the teams on Madden wouldn't even sniff at them.
I sure hope there's somebody who actually knows the value of a trade making the decisions on whether they get accepted or not.

I've had people offering me their 1st and 3rd rounders to move down about 10+ spots in the 1st round. Umm, that would never happen.
I've had people offering me their 1st and some old geezers making about 8 million this year, or somebody who is a FA that hardly anybody would want if he was signed for the next 5 years. All of this for the #4 pick?
I could see these trades in the NFL draft. There would be some GM's getting fired before the draft was over. Please let somebody sane be looking through the proposals before they're accepted.
I've even had people offer me their middle to late 1st round pick and 40 yr old D-Lineman for my #4 pick, and 4th round pick. I'll jump right on that one.

Actually, it wasn't you I was refering to. But since you brought it up...
The #4 and my 4th round pick isn't worth your #13 and Bruce Smith. No hard feelings dude, you don't need to hold a grudge, lol
I might be having a ton of picks in a little bit. I'm still willing to take offers.

I'm in the works on another deal too. I could still be looking to deal the #6 in anybody is interested in it.
The #6 is still on the trading block. I also might be interested in trading up into the 1st round. I have my 2nd round pick and a 3rd round pick on the line for it.

If I ever make a trade deal, I'll need to make a Poll for teams to vote on... lol
but as of now I'm interested in trading one of my first rounders in order to gain a 2nd and 3rd or 4th.

Don't worry, PA... I wasn't born yesterday. I won't approve any deals unless I sould see it happening on draft day. (or earlier)
Example. YardRat's trade is 'on hold' b/c Kordell could get cut before the (our) draft. I also do not know if he'd be willing to go to the Bungles (will research... so far he hasn't said he won't).

The Chicago Bears and The San Fransico would like to make a trade...
The Chicago Bears would like to trade Brian Urlacher, and their 3rd, 5th, and 7th(#70, 132, & 196) round draft picks and will recieve San Fran's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks(#26, 58, and 90)

February 27th, 2003, 9:52:40 PM
that's waht i was thinking originally, but some people like trades, luckily not everyone has gone over-board. I won't pass it if it's too crazy though.
The Spaz... you could trade PP to Atlanta.... ;) lol

February 27th, 2003, 10:22:29 PM
How is the Urlacher trade overboard? He's in the last year of his contract so the cap questions isn't a problem. The Bears had thoughts of trading him this year too.
Urlacher is worth that trade. Geez
PA Season Ticket Holder
February 27th, 2003, 10:23:49 PM
I'd like to replace him this year instead of having to tag him next year.

I got hung out to dry on both of these trades. Now I can't even make trades. I thought I had the draft positions I wanted. Now all the work is for nothing.
Mouldsie
February 27th, 2003, 10:33:22 PM
Urlacher won't be traded by the Bears. I'll bet you all of my Buffalo Chips on that one.
PA Season Ticket Holder
February 27th, 2003, 11:14:14 PM
I know he won't, but it's not like it's never happened with other players.
I didn't know fantasy trades had to be real trades. I can see if somebody just signed a 10 million dollar bonus, and I wanted to trade him the next year.
After you saw my draft you wouldn't have been thinking it was a crazy trade.
Mouldsie
February 27th, 2003, 11:29:18 PM
It doesn't have to be REAL, but REALISTIC. See waht I mean? He won't be traded, therefore I can't allow it. BUT if a trade is reasonable and could happen, it's permitted.
