I'm sorry, but I have to laugh when a pseudo-politician is whining about people lying and badmouthing.

This is so true, and it basically sums up everything that's wrong with WNY politics.

These a**holes need to wake up and realize that Golisano may be their last hope at keeping the sabres, but no, they're busy running around trying to revive the Hamister bid. It's ludicrous!

Do you really expect the politicos in WNY to warm up to Golisano after he spent most of last year ripping them and then torpedoing their buddy's bid to buy the team just because it might be in the best interest of the area?

Personally, the way they should handle everything is to say that they'll support any bid that's approved by Adelphia and the NHL. That puts the ball back in Golisano's court to put up or shut up.

And honestly, government officials shouldn't bother with people that are merely attempting to bid on the team. Until Adelphia and the NHL get on board Golisano hasn't done anything worth talking about really.
