Who else but the Avalanche. They are rideing a 9 game undefeated streak and a 5 game winning streak after their 4-2 victory earlier tonight against the Flames. Peter Foresberg got his 6th carrier hat trick only a day after Hedjuk got his first. With the win the Avs move into 2nd place in the Northwest and 5th in the Western Conference, and are now only 6 points behind the Canucks with a meeting coming up on Thursday.

But before that they will take on the Devils in a battle of what most would agree are the two hottest teams as of now. It will be in the Pepsi Center (Centre if your Canadian) and I have got to believe that Colorado will extend their streaks to 10 and 6. Should be a great hockey game.

All this w/out Sakic.

Very Impressive, Abischer looked good last night, but the Flames are really bad.

That's the thing that gets me. We are something like 13-3-?-? without Sakic this year. The line of Foresberg, Hedjuk, and Tanguary has been outstanding. So once Sakic comes back that wll give us two unbelievable lines.

Once Roy retiers Arbisster will shine even brighter. The guy has all the tools to be a top goltender for years to come.

The Leafs are at the same exact spot the Avs are in the West and they have 1 more point than Colorado.
