I wasn't impressed with poutine. I like ketchup on my fries. The wackos down here put vinegar on fries, that's gross too.

I still don't understand exactly what a toque is. lol I was supposed to meet one of my Canadian friends at a bar two years ago and since I didn't know what he looked like, he told me he would be wearing a toque. I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. It's a knit cap for your head, right?

Usually it's both.. but some people just have the gravy.. and not the cheese.. it's still poutine though..

toque is pronounced.. "tuke" like Luke and nuke.. but with a T

I like fries with salt and vinegar...kinfda like salt and vinegar potato chips but not as crunchy and with more potato flavor.

Tocque is the proper spelling,but most spell it toque.And J I have one for you to wear up here when it is -30.And did'nt I hear you say your favourite chips is salt and vinigar,so why would you not like it on your fries? ;)

Super fatty Cheese covered by super hot fat (gravy). It gets super gooey. Very good.

man putine is awesome, if you go to montreal you wil lbe in for a treat. When your hammered stumbling out of a bar thre is nothing better than poutine.
