how schools are structured in Canada. I hear people talking about school and I think I understand what they're talking aboot but apparently they are using terms differently than I am.

Well, this is the progression in the states: pre-school, kindergarten, grade school, high school, college, graduate school. If someone here says they have an undergrad they mean they have a bachelor's degree.
