When I was young I wanted to be a nurse. Then I realized I couldn't stand the sight of blood, was deathly afraid of needles and I panicked too much in emergency situations. lol That dream died quickly. lol

If I knew I'd get everything I wanted in life, I would have hoped for a little more...

I wanted to build bridges. I had this crazy dream as a child that I could build a bridge across the Atlantic. Strange how hardly any one actually does what they wanted. Then of course, when I was in my teens, I wanted to be a porn star.lol

I actually got to live that dream on a summer job while home from college. It actually wasn't that bad....if you don't mind the stench of old, rotten cat food.

I used to think they were bad people when I was younger. They looked scary. Now, I think they're a bit nuts. While the sniper was on the loose, the Hells Angels were pumping gas for people at some of the local gas stations. While I admire them for being that kind to people, they were just putting themselves in danger. They were lucky, none of them were hit. I'm all for helping people out but I'm not sure if I would risk my own life for someone I didn't know. I admire the police, firemen and other people who put their lives at risk on a daily basis for people they don't know. It takes a lot of courage and compassion to do that. :)

A police officer was one of the ideas I had when I was a kid. I think what dissuaded me was the fact that the PA State Police required its officers to be good swimmers...and I can't swim worth a lick...lol. Later on, I found another reason I couldn't be a cop...I'm not comfortable with guns all that much.
