My 5 year old boy wants an EZ Bake Oven for Christmas. My wife says that if he marries someone like her, he will need one.

I think its because he wants cake every night. He has enough feminine qualities. Do I, as an admitted homophob, indulge him or take a stand?

Whats wrong with being a male chef. Get him into that. Chefs get a lot of babes. I'm not joking.

You're kidding right? That's an issue? What are you afraid of...today an EZ Bake Oven...tomorrow a gay bath house?

Will his sexual orientation make a difference in how you treat him?

Yes, I was kidding Noc. I'm alot more concerned with him eating cake everyday than sexual orientation. Just a bad post I guess.

BTW Frankie, I'm encouraging (not pushing) him more in the space travel astronomy route, because that is what he shows the most interest

Bill Cosby once spoke about giving his kids cake one morning for breakfast, they proceeded to sing his praises...."dad is great, he gives us chocolate cake".

I'm not sure what the moral to that is, but what the hell, why start making sense now...we're on a roll here.

That's really scary. They definitely get less sugar than we did as kids, (and I think most kids today are like that), but when they do get it in any type of quantity.....its like a kiddie ecstasy party. And when they come down off their sugar high..., the day after halloween at their preschool is like a kids version of New Years Day.

my son wanted an easy bake oven when he was maybe 5 or 6 ... the cakes that you bake are more like cookies ... just make sure he goes easy on the icing .... the best part of a toy like this is the "adult supervision" ... you and/or your wife will have some great quality time with him .... ENJOY IT

You could buy him an automatic squirrel flipper.

The more chocolate a person eats, the more intelligent they are. There have been many studies on this and the results are always the same.

Thanks to all who responded this is the wife that got the son the easy bake oven. I tell my husband I don't know why he worries about the easy bake oven. My husbands a great cook so if his son is a great cook when he's older it's because he watched his Dad. We always do a lot with the boys & try to encourage their likes like the space & telescope which is also something I got but my husband gets stuck on the Easy bake...I say enjoy your kids every minute they grow so fast. I'm sure if he grows up to be a great chef the easy bake oven will become my husbands idea...HA!!!!

"Actually, only the chocolate eaters think their smarter."

Correction: Chocalate eaters are so smart that the only people that can understand them are other chocolate eaters.

been done, I got him a Playhut football target also. He actually has a pretty good spiral. On the other hand, he waits too long to release the ball, misreads receivers often and throws to the wrong colored jersey too much. Is it too early to write him off as another RJ?

Maybe you should cut him. Disown him. Let another kid take over. :D

I think I'm learning bad habits from these Bills message boards. ;)
