His last start came on New Year's Eve 2000, but for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fourth-year veteran quarterback Shaun King, that could change if the balky back that kept Brad Johnson out of practice on Wednesday does not improve over the next few days.
If the back injury precludes Johnson from playing, King, elevated to the No. 2 job a few weeks ago after Rob Johnson held the primary backup spot much of the season, is more than ready to step into the lineup.
