Even though I hate the Steelers,Honestly, I dont believe Maddox was seriously injured...yup thats right. I believe he was faking it...I mean, who am I to say what hurts and what doesnt but if you take a look at that hit it wasnt even a hard hit but it was more of Bullucks weight coming down...Maddox sucks and I believe he couldnt find a way to get out of his horrible 4 INT performance so he went on exagerating the Injury. Had he stayed in the game they wouldve probably gave him one last shot and if he continued to struggle he wouldve been demoted and they wouldve given Batch a shot...killing his dream of being a starter in this league...I was never sold on Maddox and I think he realizes the truth as well...also hes already walking? and they didnt find anything wrong with him....gimmie a break....again I dont wish any kind of injury on anyone but this guy makes me suspicious....
Again who am I to say this, but its just my opinion...you make the call...http://www.nfl.com/partners/aol/ind...ory/PIT/5903978

Sorry, WCF, I agreed w/ you on your last post but this one is off. Maddox got a "stinger," that's when nerve endings in the spinal cord get squished together. They say it's one of the most painful injuries you can get, trust me I've had one in a backyard game. You don't want to move and parts of your body go numb. To get a stinger the impact doesn't have to be all that huge, it's more the angle and stuff like that.

bduff, you said Henry was faking his injury in denver, so you of all people should agree with him.
p.s. Kordell was AWESOME in relief... back to his PB form.

Kordell's pro bowl form was 3,000 yds. 14 TD's and 17 Int.'s. last year. Wow, Moulds, he's amazing... I'm sure glad we don't have to play against him this season... (sarcasm)

My opinion may be far fetched, but its not impossible...I believe he wanted out of the game after a horrific poor performance and didnt know how....again guys this is just my opinion and dont have anything to back it up with, but I really do believe this....As for his family, they were flown in right away...what else could he asked for? his family close to him and he didnt even have to pay for it....and now hes walking like nothing....dont be surprised if hes playing against the bengals!

I don't think Maddox would go so far as to stay overnight in the hospital for the sake of faking an injury. He would have nothing to gain by that. The doctors have diagnosed him as having a "spinal concussion." I've never heard of such a thing, but I presume that his spinal cord was traumatized in the hit in the same way that the brain is traumatized in a regular cuncussion. I don't think Bullock's hit was illegal or that he should be fined or anything like that. It was just one of those things.

My typing mistake gives me the opportunity to say it twice!

Dude, No. He was def hurt.
Some cases people do fake injury, minor injury, not something that can be as scary as that. This is the case when its 4th quarter and you have no timeouts and you need to keep the clock from running. But usually it isnt the leader of your team who does this.
Plain and simple, he did not fake it Bad days happen. When he has been as productive as he has for them passing the ball and winning games, he wouldnt have been benched for long if at all for them.

Preacher.... 17 INT last year!?!? you sure?
Mouldsie
November 20th, 2002, 4:50:57 PM
WRONG! I just looked it up 11 INT's and an 81.7 QB rate
he also added 537 rushing yards you know.....
And for you flutie-fans and Kordell-haters...... "he wins games"
Mouldsie
November 20th, 2002, 4:52:22 PM
and he was only sacked every 15.2 drop-backs
