Niklas Lidstrom -DET- terrific at offence, defence, PK and PP, perhaps the best all-around player in the league, the players around him may make him better than he actually is
Brian Leetch -NYR- great offencively and good defencively, durable, playing at a high level at an old age
Chris Pronger -STL- great at everything including hitting, injured too often
Rob Blake -COL- great offencively and physically, sets up PP from everywhere
Al MacInnis -STL- best shot in the league in the last 10 years scares all opponents
Sergei Gonchar -WSH- PP specialist best at scoring goals, injured often, suspended at least once a season
Sergei Zubov -DAL- underrated PP set-up man, gets in front of shots often, rarely penalized
Ed Jovonovski -VAN- all-around stalwart at the entire game, biggest D as leader of team, doesn't score goals often
Sandis Ozolinsh -FLA- offencively great, underrated defencively, leader of young defencive core
Phil Housley -CHI- underrated entire career, always a goal scorer, good defencive approach

Zhitnik isn't too far away from making that list IMHO. He may not score a lot, but he is a good defender. He is like a Pat Williams compared to the Warren Sapp's listed above. Not many sacks but gets teh dirty work done (but Big Pat is bettter at it ;) )
