no I didnt. I did nothing wrong except debate and give my 2 cents. Bduff thought he so amazingly made another poster look silly in another thread. That's makes me wonder how long before someone makes bduff look silly in a thread? or has that already been accomplished.

1.) I'm happy bduff doesn't refer to me as "my boy jimmifli". ugggh.
2.) I'm not surprised bduff acted in a manner totally in keeping with his online personna.
3.) I'm happy the thread is gone.

However, as a recent addition to this board Dantes you should be aware that acting in a high-handed manner is no new thing hereabouts and I'd never say everything here gets done with some Bill of Rights, everyone gets handled equally manner. Mods do whatever the he11 they want and generally selectively enforce rules as they chose.

That's the lay of the land as I see it anyways.

thanks askabry. I got the feeling that's how things work around here. While i'm not judging all the mods in general, I do think it's unfair to justify yourself from the rules you laid down. I guess bduff won't be a man and apologize. That's ok because i'm not gonna force him to. At least everyone here will know what kind of fortitude the ultimate posting machine "who does no wrong", bduff brings to the table.

Exactly right. Everybody's feelings are gonna get squashed sometimes...it's better that you vent your frustrations on a message board than by shooting up a convenience store (for example). Dantes, bro, I respect your opinion but it's all good. If ya don't like what Bduff has to say, I'd just let it fly without getting too angry. He posts on everything around here (from what I've seen, I haven't exactly been around long) and not everything he says is law. People disagree on everything. If you don't like the opinion, put your own down, and back it up intelligently and respectfully. As far as I can see, you've pretty much done that, but this is degenerating into something personal. I'd just let it go...as several people have already stated, life's too short. :)

I've only ever had a problem with one mod in over a year. And he wound up justifying my opinion of him and is no longer here.

I think the mods here do a fine job especially considering some of the behaviour that goes on.

Hsker and Dantes -- just relax. The original thread probably should have been moved here not deleted, but either way it had no place on the hardcore board. That's for football talk. I've known Rick--the man who runs this site--for a long time, and he doesn't stand for mods using their power wrong. Two previous mods (who now run a copycat web site) used to do that, and it hurt this site way too much to let it happen again. I suspect duff just deleted the thread because it was...well...kind of pointless. Next time, I'm sure it'll just get moved in here.

We're all Bills fans...except Shiva of course. We haven't figured out why he's here.
