If there are any fans of early 90's Seattle bands... time to get psyched.

The long awaited collaboration between Chris Cornell & the former members of Rage Against the Machine finally has a name...

Audioslave

I heard the first single, Cochise, which seems pretty great.

I doubt there are too many fans on a football board awaiting this release, but for anyone who might care (maximus? figurita?)... check it out. The CD comes out on November 19th.

I'm not crazy about DMX, but I imagine he'd make for an interesting mix with RATM. It would probably be a pretty "kick you in the face" type of music.

Here's what DMX said...

"I got a rock joint," X bragged recently. "I did two songs with Rage Against the Machine. One song is 'We Gonna Get It Right,' and the other one is 'Here I Come.' I only met one of [the group members]. I pretty much got a CD and did the damn thing."

If you have one of those mp3 programs (like kazaa, winMX, or morpheus), you could probably find it relatively quick.

If not, I would advise doing a search for rage against the machine + dmx + mp3. It should probably yield something!
