Biron is our future and best overall player. He has given us a chance to win most games. He's gotten off to a decent start, but hopefully Ruff won't overwork him this year.

Give us your take on our star goaltender.

:Lovin: :jumpnclap :jumpnclap Pucker you know me too well! lol..

Hehehe this is great.. I enjoy this one very much.. Biron IMO is one of the better goalies in the league.. I get to watch a lot of games with different teams and things.. and I also get to see when the other goalies are hot and when they are not.. Biron looks so comfortable in net and I love it when he plays.. I love the way he's been challenging the shooters a lot more.. I also love the way he plays the puck (a particular play was when he got out of his net and shot the puck at Vancouver's bench when he saw they had too many men on the ice.. and they were caught) he's a smart player and I think he's consistently getting better! When he gets in the zone.. he's unbeatable :)

He CAN be elite.. if he keeps working at it.. despite the lack of offense from this team.. I honestly believe he can be the difference..

6-3, 163? He's a bone rack. He'd fall over in a stiff breeze.

Milenko, wow. You're a Biron psycho!

But don't forget....It's not the Buffalo Biron's. It's the Buffalo Sabres. I remember seeing you type that if the Sabres ever traded him, you would take off your Sabres sweater forever. Isn't that a little drastic? Aren't you a Sabres fan? What if Noronen starts out playing Biron (which he has already started doing) and steals the #1 job away from Marty for a slew of games? Then what?

Don't get me wrong. I think Biron is a terriffic goaltender. He's definitley one of the better netminders in the league...But I don't like him better than the Sabres as a team. If Noronen keeps heating it up in the nets, Biron will sit. Even though goaltending has not been the problem, Ruff will do anything for a spark.

In an ultimate plan to get the team some offenive talent, in my opinion, Biron could bring in a bundle. It could mean the franchise, and if the right offer came along, I wouldn't hesitate to do trade him. Especially with Noronen ready to step in, and Miller in the AHL.

no but the vapor trails from the pucks that fly by him certainly do ;)

Now if the Sabs could have a team playing in front of this kid you might see something different, but I truly think that he goes braindead on most nights. I don't know if he's watching some shiney object in the crowd or what...maybe he's talking to the offensive guy in front of him and gets carried away ...

O well, Go Brion, Go Sabs
