Seattle Seahawks QB Dilfer, according to FOX Sports, has suffered a torn Achilles' tendon during Sunday's game against Dallas.

I think their season and Holmgren's job were already spiraling down the toilet before this. Dilfer's injury just gave them a second flush.

From what I could see, he wasn't touched - it was like Marino's injury in that regard. You never know if its not just his season but his career with this type of injury . . .

Holmgren looks like the kind of guy who would walk out of the men's room with TP stuck on his shoe and unravel the whole roll across the floor before he noticed it.

That was Cowart's injury too. He just jumped a little in coverage with no one near him. When he landed, it popped.

The Achillies always seems to be the "freak" injury that just happens....

Like John said...this could be a career ender for Dilfer

Trent was pure pocket qb;not very mobile at all. Poor guy.

Marino came back from it. Why not Dilfer?
