Looks like one of my expectations has come true...
An adaption of (what is now) their former third jersey. That former third jersey will be worn on the road. This is the second time Pittsburgh has done this and other teams to have done it are: Ottawa, Dallas, San Jose, St. Louis, and Philadelphia
