So the Steelers are so desperate they are putting Maddox in as starter this week. Kordell Stewarrt isn't happy with it but what the hell does he have to complain about?? He has played awful since his dreadful performance against New England in the playoffs last season. Bravo for Bill Cowher for finally realizing he has the most overrated quarterback in the league on his hands.

It's not like he really stepped up.

Maddox will not start in week 6, i guarantee it. Stewart is a winner.... yes he has struggled, but the stats don't lie, when stewart is the QB they win games. He's in a slump, but he is still a good player and will snap out of it.

I saw them play once this season. It's almost like they're trying to make him more of a dropback passer again.

How can you say this ?? Stewart has never accomplished anything; indeed he has a long history of choking in the clutch, and last years ousting by the Patriots was just the latest example where he threw three INT's. I would say he is much better coming off the bench or as a change of pace.

I think Stewart is a good QB when the Steelers are leading the score and Bettis gets his usual carries. But when things aren't going the way they (Steelers) want and Stewart must carry the team he doesn't have what it takes to say, "well I'm here, I'll do it for you", maybe is lack of confidence or something, because the guy has the tools to make things happen.

OK, is Maddox good or just lucky?
