How could a head coach not teach his team the rules of football.
Missed fg's can and will be returned straight up your ass...lol
How much longer will they put up with such ineptness at head coach.

Was that his fault or the players?

You don't think you have to tell an electrician to turn off the power before sticking a screwdriver into a light socket. You don't think you have to tell professional football players to cover a missed field goal.

The players just got hoodwinked by a terrific move by McAllister. It was 8 yards deep and he stopped in the endzone. He looked like he wasn't running it out. Granted, the Broncos totally blew the play and you obviously have to keep going until you hear the whistle, but you can hardly blame it on coaching especially the head coach. The players just got suckered.

I remember a few seasons ago, when Aaron Glenn did the same thing against the Colts.

Can't lay this one on the coach. One of the first tenets of football is you play until the whistle blows. It's not Mike Shanahan's fault his team wasn't paying attention.

If this happened to the Bills, 90% of you would be calling for GW's head on a platter. The hypocracy!

I've never seen this type of play before, nor did I know it was legal...seems like the players didn't know either...

If that play would have happened to us certain folks on this board would have been calling GW the biggest idiot on the planet and calling for his immediate firing. Since it's Shanahan it's ok.
Just a jab at the GW haters of the world. At least thats how I took it.

But they had 108 yards in which to stop him.

Even if he did, he's still not dressed in pads.
