Cottrell might want to put an ad out or hope Reeves retires so Wade hires him soon. The Pats are good but the Jets looked terrible. No effort defensively, no heart, no passion, no attempt at a running game. Granted the Pats surgerically ripped them apart but they laid there without kicking. I think we've found the 4th placed AFC East team in December.

Yeah, the Jets may have the worst defense in the NFL right now. And Vinny STILL didn't throw the ball downfield, even when they were losing by 20 points. Give credit to Victor Green for realizing that he throws to that stupid FB on every other play (why couldn't one of our safties do that?) I still can't believe we lost to those bumbs.

The Jets being bad should not make you feel good. That means Buffalo's close call against them is discredited. I think the Jets will rebound. N.Eng is hot right now and that game got out of hand. The Jets aren't that bad. No team in the NFL is as bad, or as good as they might look on any given week. The Redskins aren't 30 points worse than the Eagles, but last night they were!

I disagree I think Detroit is far below a lot of teams....

The Jests are 1-1 after being dominated twice!! That type of luck won't continue!!!!

I think the Jets should be ranked somewhere between 16 and 21 out of 32. Below average, but not hopeless.

But look at their schedule before they play the Bills again:

At Miami (loss)
At Jacksonville (winnable)
Kansas City (winnable)
Bye
Minnesota (winnable)
Cleveland (probable win)
At San Diego (winnable)
Miami (probable loss)
At Detroit (probable win)

They could easily win 5 of those 8 games and be 6-4 when they return. They could be very mediocre and still finish with a winning season at 9-7.

Yeh, but overall they pretty much play the same schedule as us. The only difference is they don't play the tough teams from the AFC West & NFC North until the end of the season.
