The Montreal Expose trade for Bartolo Colon yesterday, one of the top 10 pitchers in baseball. The Expos are proving everybody wrong and are in the wild card race!

And they are still going to contract or move next season.

The last time the Expos made a run was the stike year of 1994. What are the odds they do the same this season?

the expos, with colon, have one of the best starting pitching staffs in all of baseball. they will be in the race to the end.

yeah they have colon, vasquez and armas. all three or top tier guys. there is no way montreal can keep them but it would be great to see them in the playoffs

The ultimate World Series would be the Expos/Twins. Stick it in the face of Bud Selig.

Two excellent posts Eric. It would be the biggest kick in the nuts if the WS were cancelled again in the year when the Expos had a chance.

As for an Expos/Twins Series. We can all hope. It would be very cool

Did anyone participate in the Sporting News All-Star campain. The wanted readers to use all their votes on Twins and Expos with the All-Star game being in Bud Seligs home town.

Since you can vote 25 times from an oline address I used 1 ballot for the guys who deserved it and the other 24 for Twins and Expos. Looks like not enough did it to matter but what a hoot if the starters had been all those players.

I find that I'm rooting for the Expos, Twins and Marlins just to screw up Bud Selig and that fraud of a game he leads.

It would be fitting for the Expos to peak this season. In addition to missing out because of the strike in 1994, they also made it to the first round in the 1981 labor problem season and lost to the Dodgers.
