Paille Only Negotiating With Sabres

Restricted free agent Daniel Paille told 7 News Monday that he is negotiating only with the Sabres, and says he hasn't had any talks with other teams.

As a restricted free agent, Paille could sign an offer sheet with any NHL team, which the Sabres would then have the option to match. If the Sabres chose not to match the offer, they would receive compensation for Paille.

However, at the Kevin Everett Golf Classic in Hamburg Monday, Paille told Channel 7's Shawn Stepner, that he has had talks with the Sabres, and expects to have a contract done with the team in time for training camp.
