The officials in that game were so one-sided, I thought the Kings were playing the New England Patriots. Sacramento got robbed!

Of course they did and guess what they are going to get robbed in game 7 because NBC and David Stern (aka Pete Rozelle wannabe) don't want a New Jersey Nets-Sacramento Kings Final.

Agreed gents, except on the flagrant foul on Bryant for the elbow to Bibby. That wasn't necessarily flagrant, but SHOULD have been a foul on Bryant and 2 FT's for Bibby, which probably would have put the Kings up by 1 since they were only trailing by 1, and Bibby is a good FT shooter. Total BS officiating on that non-call and calling it a foul against Bibby, but as Frankie said, the NBA and NBC do NOT want a Kings-Nets final.

Kinda reminds me of last year and them not wanting Milwaukee in it.

Kobe's first shot of the game, Bibby jumps up and puts his hand up, then pulls it down as Kobe was about a foot over him. Bibby was about 5-10 inches away from Kobe, with clearly no contact. It gets called.

Late in the game, Kobe ELBOWS Bibby in the face and runs through him, and in the replay you can see the ref staring right at it, but no call.

I wonder if any angry fans have ever messed of a Ref. Or any angry players.

that was disgusting the Lakers were given that win last night. Kings deserved to win that game but the Lakers got every call. They showed calls on Divac and Pollard where the refs were looking right at them and made a call on them where there was nothing.

How about Kobe's elbow?

Does anyone remember the end of game 5? Just prior to bibby making that last shot, the referees gave the ball back to sacramento when it was obviously off of chris webber on an out of bounds play. They had the call right the first time and then reversed it basically taking a Lakers win away. If anything, game 6 was a makeup game for that debacle. Look for game 7 to be a war.

Divac is worse than a soccer player - he flops more than anyone in the history of the NBA. If he has a bad call go against him, I don't feel sorry for him. It's like the boy who cried wolf scenerio.

I don't like the Lakers, but the Kings remind me of the Knicks 10 years ago....a ridiculously cocky group for a bunch of punks who have never won anything. I'd be thrilled to see the Nets pull off a miracle against either of these teams; albeit a 100-1 shot.

Everybody knows the refs in the NBA are a sham.
MJ made a living traveling, carrying, having calls go for him throughout his career.
Shaq's doing the same thing down low--if they would ever actually call charging against him he'd foul out in the first quarter every game.
Alot of bad calls in game 6, seemingly lop-sided in the Lakers favor.
I just hope the refs are even-handed and not a factor for game 7 and they let the players decide the series.

The NBA and David Stern are as phony as PT Barnam.

The Refs gave the Lakers game six and inevitably the series.

Need proof. In Game 6, the Kings erase a 5 pt deficit and take the lead by 2pts with about 2 1/2 minutes to game, with all the momentum on their side and then take possesion on a Laker turnover, spot the ball to Webber on left side of the paint, easily beats Horry with drive towards middle of lane, with his first step miles outside of Horry, then Horry Jumps in front, with legs still moving and they call a offensive foul on Webber. There is no way they can make that call unless the fix is in. Then to be sure they foul out Divac when clearly Christie fouled Bryant into paint making him lose ball and dive for it. Replay clearly showed Christie clamped down on Bryant arm, forcing him to lose the Ball. When Divac grabbed at the Ball, Bryant is almost on his back and Divac touches the Ball before any part of Bryants body. It shoulda been a jump Ball. The Refs know the Kings have no shot without Divac.

The NBA is as phony as the WWF, which I don't watch either.

The Lakers and Shaq and Kobe are the NBA's New Cash Cow now that Jordan and Bulls are no more.

Let's hope for a miracle from the Nets! That would be sweeet.

The Nets should win. If the Kings were able to stay in that game with their sloppy play, the Nets should find it easy (well not too easy) to win.

Being that I live here in Sacramento and being a Kings fan, I appreciate that we Kings Fans are not the only ones who saw that that game 6 was fixed!! The series should have been over on Friday night.

But I will also say that the Kings totally blew game 7 by themselves!!! They missed so many free throws that it cost them the game!!

Congrats to the Lakers and especially Shaq for making his free throws. But we all know that the Kings had that series and that the league, and NBC needed the revenue and they were the ones who forced a game 7, not the Lakers.

:wail: Wah...wah...wah.....The refs called a fair game 7. The King's couldn't make any free throws. lol and Bibby is the only on who wanted the ball on the Kings...they couldn't handle the pressure!!!

That's exactly why I no longer watch the NBA. It's all about "what's supposed to happen" or what's better for marketing or the like.

Bryant's elbow to the face of Bibby would have ended the game and series for the Kings, but how could anyone expect the refs to see that! I mean it was only involving the league's superstar and was right smack in the middle of all the action. On one still that showed Bryant's elbow in Bibby's face, the ref on the backline was looking right directly at them.

What gives!

B-ball has become way too frustrating to watch for me. The refs have WAY too much control over games, especially at the end. They change the game all the way thru and then give the team that got screwed a bunch of nothing fouls late in the game so that the PF tallies will be closer.

It's a sham.

Didn't even see game 7! I knew that the NBA wanted the Lakers to win after game 6. There was no question in my mind that the Lakers were going to win game 7 either with or w/o the officials help.

So why watch what's been pre-ordained? Right!

Hey Bills fa Life, I hope that you're not trying to say that I'm crying about the Kings losing, because you can clearly see that I made mention to the fact that they blew it by not hitting their free throws. My point was that game 6 WAS fixed and that the Lakers needed help in order to get to the next level.
