I would not say the Wings got beat down. But yeah, your prize offseason pickup who is supposed to help bring the cup to Buffalo goes down before the season. You get beat by Rochester in the first game. Both goalies hurt during the season. You have to have guys like Brandon Swamp step up and play big roles on the team. Yet he they are, one win away from the championship. Man I can't wait for Saturday.
