just wondering what everybody's opinion is on this subject that is near and dear to my heart right now. If any of you are coaches i would love to see how you feel!

Roy keane the captain of Irelands soccer team is set to make an apology tonight at 8:30 irish time. If you don't already Roy Keane is arguably one of the top 10 players in the world and captain of both Man united and the republic of ireland. he was kicked off the team lastweek for lashing out at the coach Mick Mccarthy. he he called him a $ucking wanker and questioned his ability to coach the team. He complained about the length of the flight to Japan and the facilities that were provided for the team. Now it seems he is set to apologize and may want to be reinstated. would you guys let him back on the team risking your integrity or stand your ground and basically ending your career as Irish manager folowing the world cup?

mods please leave it for a second. thanks boys

Personally, I'd keep him off the squad. I'd rather have him save everything for ManU's season this fall. Besides, Keane could be a key player for Ireland and I want England to win. ;)

It all comes down what is best for Ireland.
I saw a couple of Manchester games, to watch Verón, and Keane is a very talented player, and I assume (I didn't watch any Ireland games) that he's a very important player for them.
I think the Coach and Keane should sit down in a room and talk about this whole thing untill they make an agreement or something. Then if everything is back to normal they should go in public and apologize with the media and most important to people of Ireland.

Are we talking all-out Gazza-type headcase or just a mild headcase?
