What happens when gas goes to 2.98? you are stuck with a crappy car and a useless promo.

When gas goes to $2.98? Ahhhh those would be the good ol' days.

I seriously don't think that will ever happen now...gas is averaging $3.63 and we haven't even seen a hurricane yet. Imagine what would happen when Hurricane A-Hole, Bitch, or C-sucker hit anyhwere near the gulf region?

I'm going to buy the necessary bicycle/paddle boat (for going across the chesapeake bay) combo so I can get to work.

It sounds good but they could do better with, let's say, a $3000 rebate.

If gas gets to 3.99 a gallon then you save a dollar per gallon. If you use 15 gallons a week then you save:

$15 per week
$60 per month
$720 per year over three years is $2160.

If they don't give a decent rebate then It's a bonus for buyuing a Chrysler not an incentive.

Well considering Jeep is money maker for them, I am not surprised.

I just seen a commercial for Suzuki, and their new promo is, if you buy one, you get a summers worth of gas, for free! Crazy. I wonder how much that really is.

Just remember...unless you're really in the market for a new car, then it really isn't cheaper to buy a new car to save on gas, especially if the car you drive is paid off or practically paid off.
