Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you knew of a free way to stop all these annoying spams from loading my email box? I currently have Hotmail and Yahoo and I get over 50 spam emails in each box, a day! I tried clicking on the little unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails...but now i'm not getting those ones anymore...i'm getting much more! It's driving me insane! How do I fix this? Anyone have any clue? Thanks! :D

Northern is right, Mike. Use your junk mail filter for Hotmail. I use mine all the time. All I get in my hotmail account are porn sites. lol It's very disturbing and perverted.

No, i use my filter and set it up at high now and i still get over 30-40 a day in my regular box! WTF! Does it really help by hitting that annoying unsubscribe button? I heard that if we hit that...it lets them know we are here and then get put on other lists of theirs.

So, when I keep seeing these on the bottom of each email...click them? It will help? I hope so! :D

It's a law that they remove you from their list. Unfortunately, there isn't a law preventing them from "sharing" your addy with "affiliates."

Thank you northern! You have just fixed my slow computer problem and now just fixed my email spam problem! :D

That's what I was thinking, bf1....they have to stop sending me email from their account....but they cant still share my email with another spam company or send email from another one of their many many many spam emails! :D

I have been wording in the direct marketing industry for over 3 years. I know how these things work.

I put share in quotes because that is what they say. They don't share them, they sell them. They are bought and sold en masse.

What is needed is a software package that doesn't only block the e-mail, but send back and error to the sender. That would be the only way to nix names since the e-mail lists are kept clean by automated systems.
