He was rated 4/5th rounder. They are totally rebuilding the ST.
Maybe he will be moved to FB.
just don't see the need for another RB, unless we move Wright to FB.

I think it's likely that they see him as our FB.

I'm pretty sad they didn't go after Justice, but I guess he's just not that high on their draft board. This has shown a HUGE vote of confidence for Fowler from the FO.
Omon will be a FB.

5'11 226...i think there were better options out there for a FB...he doesnt have the size of a true FB.
we must not like justice.

I don't get it. Did they get drunk last night and lose their board somewhere? All these guys are projected as free agents! Why pass on Rucker and Justice for these clowns? Why not some O-Line depth? Day Two is a mess. We now have three players that we could have scooped up in the seventh round or signed as UDFA. I can't wait to see who they draft in Round 7. Hell, it might be me. I'm 36 yearrs old with bad knees but they drafted a RB with 4.7 speed. I better go look for my helmet.

What's your proudest moment in football? Proudest moment off the field?
In fourth grade, when I scored my first touchdown. Every day is a great moment because of my decision not to drink or smoke, which make me a good role model.
seems like a good clean character guy

Jauron said that he can rest after the first day's picks. I guess he is. This is the worst second day draft I have seen in recent history. Pass on Owen Schmit, Kellen Davis and now Steve Justice. Pick up a 7th rounder in Corner, an undersized DE and a no name TE. I am going to puke after flying high yeasterday. What the hell are they smoking at 1 Bills Drive today. God!!!!!!! I'm sick.

I like our 2nd day picks., just was surprised we took another RB. Our depth has been greatly improved today.

Relax guys, obviously no teams like Justice or Davis b/c they were still there to pick. Just because you read about them on mock draft sites doesn't mean they are any good.

I feel like Memphis did in the NCAA championship game when they blew that 9 point lead in a minute. Great first day, but today is the worst day of drafting I can remember in my years of following Bills drafts. Just awful.

Here's part of the scouting report on Justice, could be a reason we don't want him as we seem to already have him on the roster.
Negatives: Needs to improve his physique, as he has marginal muscle tone, undersized legs and adequate upper-body chest thickness...Lacks solid anchor strength in pass protection and can be pushed back at the point of attack vs. a strong bull rush (see 2007 Nebraska and North Carolina State games)...Has great hand-placement skills to mirror, but his lack of upper-body power prevents him from dominating the bigger linemen...Needs to do a better job of sustaining his blocks working in space (when his base narrows, he fails to clear his feet, causing defenders to slip off some hits)...Has good arm length, but will sometimes overextend and lunge making reach blocks...Must learn to stay lower in his pads to improve his base, as he will get walked back trying to widen the rush lanes when his pad level gets too high.

Everyone hating on Day 2 has like <200 posts.
Chill out guys we really don't know until they play. It's not like any of us have watched every single game all these guys have played in college. Scouts are smarter, they know more. We have to give OBD the benefit of the doubt with how well everything went last year.

I agree. Talk about a hangover! Who the hell let Donahoe back at OBD?? Day 2 has sucked IMO. Lost out on Connor, Rucker, Schmitt, and we could have had all 3. These guys they picked do not improve this team at all. Rd 3 and 4 picks should be able to pu in quality playing time on a 7-9 team. If all 10 of these draft choices make this team...we're in deep doo-doo.

No, quite the contrary. It should be pretty obvious at this point that you can't just blindly follow the draft "experts" ratings. If you could do that reliably, I am sure that most teams would gladly save the millions of dollars
spent on scouting.
Seriously, after you've watched as many drafts and read as many "draft experts" reports as I have you finally begin to understand that the teams actually just may know more than these "experts".
It is late in the draft and teams are looking for players that can contribute in some way. Many of the players drafted in these rounds won't make teams or won't stick for long. Most that can hang around will do so on special teams, so teams are weighing that factor fairly heavily at this point.

I don't believe Chris Ellis was a reach at all. He might've gone earlier if there weren't some off-the-field concerns. He fills a need as a 4th DE.
Corner may have a shot to play for the Bills in extra-DB situations. They clearly thought that he was a better fit for them than any other player available at that time.
At TE, I agree not much to get excited about with Fine, but then (based only on the writeups I've had access to) I wasn't very high on any of the TEs except Carlson, Bennett and maybe Cottam.
I just can't get overly upset with a 6th round selection on a RB.
They have 2 or 3 7th round picks left and maybe they'll get lucky and get
a valuable backup and special teams player out of the 3. That would
actually be pretty good.

I like the Ellis pick a lot. He will be a perfect 4th DE who can come in and get pressure on the QB but not be a liability in run defense. I think he has the potential to take over Kelsay's spot in a couple seasons.
After that I am less then thrilled. No one really stands out. Corner sounds exactly like Eric King from a few seasons back, how did that work out?

Just because you heard of some names doesn't mea they will be gret players. Every NFL team, not just the Bills, passed on this guys several times. I'll admit I was thrilled with the 2nd day, but who the hell knows anything at this point? I would love to see this board after we picked a reveiver in the 4th round from some crappy school in Pennsylvania or a Pats board when they wasted a 6th round on a QB from Michigan who lost his starting job during the season.

You know that fans will always grade drafts highly if their team takes 'name' players. When they don't you get a lot of this type of reaction.
