St.Louis is on the clock and it seems like everyone thinks it will be C.Long

Merk

Atlanta now on the clock and again everyone seems to think there going M.Ryan

April 26th, 2008, 4:18:09 PM
Ryan over Dorsey? That would be a surprise to me.

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:19:46 PM
I would have picked Dorsey

MeccaOfManhood
April 26th, 2008, 4:20:28 PM
ESPN Radio says that the Jets will take McKelvin at 6 even if Gholston is available. That's terrible if true.

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:20:37 PM
Oakland is on the clock and everything seems to be pointing to McFadden

Gholston is going to be a star.

I would have picked Dorsey

That pick was damage control

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:25:28 PM
I hope the Raiders just pick someone crazy like D.Jackson or something at 4 lol

CoachC.
April 26th, 2008, 4:27:27 PM
i'll be here today. i'll also have my blog running every few picks, if anyone wants to cruise by for a moment:

That pick was damage control

Yea I think that played a part but Dorsey is light years ahead of any DT they can get in this draft. Ryan is a good QB but he's not light years ahead of the guys that will be available at the end of the first and beginning of the second

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:28:28 PM
KC on the clock, I think Dorsey is the pick

Merk

SpikedLemonade
April 26th, 2008, 4:33:45 PM
Look for the Saints or Cincy to try and trade up

Yup.

Saints offered their 1st and 2nd plus next year's first to KC.

KC is stupid not to tak eit.

gilchristfan
April 26th, 2008, 4:33:55 PM
watch for a trade with NO. Peterson's going to take it. a 1 and a 2 this year, another 1 next year? Take it. They drafted 2 DT's last year in the 2nd

gilchristfan
April 26th, 2008, 4:35:57 PM
they should have traded.

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:36:01 PM
They took him, Smart move on there part he fits there D like a glove. Plus its not often that you can get the Player I believe to be the best in the draft at #5

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 4:37:38 PM
Jets are up, I think they go Gholston

phishhead220
April 26th, 2008, 4:37:39 PM
I'm so glad the Jets didn't get McFadden...I think they've got to take Gholston here. At least I hope so, he'd be a beast for New England.

bullfrog1
April 26th, 2008, 4:37:48 PM
watch jets will go Vernon Gholston

Pats are up and I think its either Ellis or Albert

bullfrog1
April 26th, 2008, 4:47:38 PM
I am guessing NE if they draft here they will take Rivers LB.

CoachC.
April 26th, 2008, 4:48:18 PM
I say Rivers or trade.

gilchristfan
April 26th, 2008, 4:51:19 PM

I think Cinn will take rivers and NE will take a CB now. unless Cinn panics! Would be funny. Its in there history

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 5:07:02 PM
It looks like Rivers or Albert will fall to the Bills.

I think Rivers is gone right here to Cincy

phishhead220
April 26th, 2008, 5:07:18 PM
I think KC is going to give the Bills a nice offer for the No. 11. They went with Dorsey earlier and they still need o-line. Denver is going to go O-line and so will a few others before No. 17. Chiefs could get first choice of linemen if they make the trade.

Merk
April 26th, 2008, 5:08:37 PM
If I'm NE I'd try and move down again

SpikedLemonade
April 26th, 2008, 5:12:21 PM

The longer this goes. The better it gets. I feel Buffalo will move up. All WR are on the board. And if this keeps going the way it is. Maybe we will get our WR without even moving up. I am loving this draft for the BB.

Once the Thomas gets picked, the run will begin. Thomas, Sweed, Jackson and possibly Hardy get picked well before we get there.

If they like Devin Thomas, now is the time to trade up.

bullfrog1
April 26th, 2008, 6:15:03 PM
I am guessing Carolinas 2nd rounder is in the deal and PHILLY would pick 43 two picks after Buffalo.

JimKelly12203
April 26th, 2008, 6:16:25 PM
Why do i get the feeling that we're going to be taking M. Kelly at 41? Is that a bad move if he's there? I don't even know hehe.

I am guessing Carolinas 2nd rounder is in the deal and PHILLY would pick 43 two picks after Buffalo.

And next years 1st, if I heard that right, plus this year's 4th.

Maybe we shouldn't trade up.

I'm really surprised at what teams are giving up to trade up.

Teams are giving up a ton. Jax gave up a ton to land Harvey IMO but anyone that read that article a while back should know how much they were enamored with him.

I think that trading up in the draft is more costly this year as a direct result of the ludicrous increase in the salary cap of late. Now more than ever, it is critical to fill your needs via the draft.

imontoya
April 26th, 2008, 6:24:05 PM
i'm surprised by Talib here. Monte Kiffin was in love with Mike Jenkins.

Bold move to come up for Sam Baker by Atlanta

I think they could have waited though and maybe made the trade a little later though. I like Baker, I feel he has been pretty underrated leading up to the draft
