Ugh, that is not what I expected from the Bisons. The Herd started out as expected, winning the first game in a blowout, and they followed that up with a close win. But after that things went south in a hurry. They lost both games of a doubleheader, including the second game when they had a five run lead going into the last inning. Things went really bad when they moved to Richmond, losing the last three games there. I figured pitching was going to be the strong point, and the starting pitching has. But the pen can't hold a lead to save their life at this point. The defense has been the normal Bisons defense for years, really bad. The offense is there on some nights, but not all. But only two home runs, and they both came in the same game. They have to do better then that.
To be fair this is one of the hardest roadtrips a team from the North is going to go on. But I think this team is good enough where they should have been 5-3, not 3-5. But it could be worse, we could be the 0-8 Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs who have been outscored 36-11 this season.
