Bernier had a lot of assists, but the casual observer wouldn't know that.

He does good work along the boards.... reminds me a bit of Hecht.... he's still pretty young..... I'll be interested to see how he develops..... He has a lot of upside

if you dig up that, "do you have big bear love" thread which included a poll. i was one of two people who said no (more people voted in the past week or so).

everybody jumped on the bandwagon way too quick. the guy has potential, sure, but everyone acted like he was our savior. i can't believe everyone was so high on him after only one game. wishful thinking, i guess.

I would sign him to a 5 year 13-15 million dollar deal. We need a big forward like him around for a while.
