Has nothing to do with toughness, though that's not meant to take anything away from him. He's a lucky SOB.

Now That's how you Get in the roster

kid doesn't miss a shift.

He is setting a bad example for the 'pussies' on this team.

As others have summed up, he's lucky. He left himself in a defenseless position, and did everything wrong going into the boards.

He is EXTREMELY lucky....when I saw that hit last night, I said "OMG" because the way he went in, there was a good chance of neck/spine injury.

he's THE TOUGHEST SOB

I don't care about luck...

I'd bet $1,000 that 90% of other players experiencing that exact same collision would stay down longer than Weber did right there.

Even though its probably lucky that he landed in such a way that he didn't permanently jack himself up, the fact that he got right back up, skated to the bench and was out there for a shift before 2 more minutes had elapsed just goes to show how high this kid's threshold for pain is.

Again, I don't care how lucky he is, there was bound to be a world of pain associated with that collision and he winced it off like it was nothing.

WEBER RULES

He was definitely lucky, but that's great the way he jumps right up. I think Henrik Tallinder broke his arm just watching that hit.

Thats why the Sabres suck. The defencemen get knocked around like puppies.

If that was Connolly he would have been out for 3 years.
