View Full Version : Did James Earl Ray kill MLK?

shiva2999

James Earl Ray plead guilty to Martin Luther King's murder but it was an "Alford" plea, a technicality where someone can plead guilty while maintaining their innocence.

How much do you REALLY know about the King assassination?

A redneck, a rifle and a motel in Memphis?

Case closed?

Ru

I view that assassination as I do the others of that era (JFK and RFK). Who had the most motivation and the most to gain from their demise? Certainly not the sorry loser that got trotted out there for the bloodthirsty public. To me, it's fairly clear that there is alot more to all three of these murders, but then again I'm supposedly a paranoid tin-foil hatter type.

Case closed?I think he did. You could make a case that he didn't, but there was more evidence than they had on Oswald.

Not saying that evidence couldn't have been manufactured. I read about it awhile ago, I'll do some more research.

There is one fact that I can't get beyond.

Ray says he ditched his car, went to Canada and then Great Britain because he thought he was being set up?

C'mon, he fled because he was afraid of getting caught.

The FBI had King under constant surveillance, even if Ray killed King in a lone psychotic act, the FBI could have easily stopped it.

Alas, they had a written policy of NOT informing King when there were credible threats against his life.

They didn't have a policy of informing the public that he was plagiarizing his speeches, beating his prostitutes, and calling him by his real name, Mike.

Who could be so unthoughtful and uninformed to make these accusations against the 20th century's most famous communist? me? David Duke? nope! Try his BEST FRIEND! Ralph Abernathy in his book And the Walls Came Tumbling Down.

Did you know:

In 1999, Coretta Scott King, King's widow, along with the rest of King's family, won a wrongful death civil trial against Loyd Jowers and "other unknown co-conspirators". Jowers claimed to have received $100,000 to arrange King's assassination. The jury of six whites and six blacks found Jowers guilty and that "governmental agencies were parties" to the assassination plot.[38] William F. Pepper represented the King family in the trial.[39][40][41]

The forces which are most anxious to weaken our internal security are not always easy to identify. Communists have been trained in deceit and secretly work toward the day when they hope to replace our American way of life with a Communist dictatorship. They utilize cleverly camouflaged movements, such as peace groups and civil rights groups to achieve their sinister purposes. While they as individuals are difficult to identify, the Communist party line is clear. Its first concern is the advancement of Soviet Russia and the godless Communist cause. It is important to learn to know the enemies of the American way of life.

If we are what we condemn then what's left to grab onto where we can claim superiority?

If it's because we are Americans, then honest bro, that's the same ethnocentric nationalistic horseshit that the third reich engaged in. I'd like to think that we don't believe that way.
