Did Obama play the race card too soon?
Will his cynicism come back to bite him in the ass?

Obama’s Support Softens in Poll, Suggesting a Peak Has Passed

WASHINGTON — Senator Barack Obama’s support among Democrats nationally has softened over the last month, particularly among men and upper-income voters, as voters have taken a slightly less positive view of him than they did after his burst of victories in February, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
...and...
The poll showed that Mr. Obama now leads Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, 47 percent to 42 percent; his lead was 50 percent to 38 percent in late February, when Mr. McCain still faced primary opposition from Mike Huckabee. The latest poll shows Mrs. Clinton leading Mr. McCain, 48 percent to 43 percent, in a similar match-up.
Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama are now effectively tied among Democratic voters, with 46 percent saying they want the party to nominate Mr. Obama, compared with 43 percent for Mrs. Clinton. In late February, 54 percent of Democrats said they wanted Mr. Obama to win the nomination, compared with 38 percent for Mrs. Clinton.
Mr. Obama’s lead among men has disappeared during that period. In February, 67 percent of men wanted the party to nominate him compared with 28 percent for Mrs. Clinton. Now 47 percent back him, compared with 42 percent for her, a difference within the poll’s margin of error. Similarly, his lead has shrunk among whites, voters making more than $50,000 annually and voters under age 45.

Interesting stuff, thanks. This softening, coupled with a definitive win in PA by Clinton, could be enough to keep the hildebeast viable. It really is coming down to these last few primaries but so many big wig superdelegates are swinging Bama's way that it seems lik ethe sun is setting on the Clinton regime. We'll find the bitch in a spiderhole next February.

Obama didn't play the race card. He had it played on him.
Why?
Because he's the black man and a black man would never do something so cynical as leverage his race for personal advantage?

Then it was a dem on dem race card. Can't blame the republicans for this one. Question, can anyone say anything negative about Obama without getting labeled a racist?
-Use his middle name: Racist.
-Pronounce his name wrong: Racist.
-Mention the bigot Wright: Racist.
-Pick apart his speech: Racist.
-Use his middle name: Racist.
-Question his ethics: Racist
-Question his experience level: Racist
-Mention his dancing on TV in front of the news cameras-Racist
-Call him a lying POS-Racist
On and on and on and on. Is the guy interviewing for the job or not? I'd really like to know because his supporters give me the impression that even holding a general election would be racist. Getting real ***** old bamamaniacs and it is going to come back and bite you because I guarantee the last thing people want to do is have the race card played on them for the next 4 years, everytime they question President Obama's decisions.

Poor dems. You really have no idea what you are up against do you? You guys should have been paying attention while the Clinton's were playing all these dirty tricks earlier. You cheered them on then because you hated/hate the right but Hill and Bill couldn't care less about who they hurt. Right, left, friend or foe, it is all the same if you stand in their way.
She will destroy the dem party before she loses the white house. If she finally concedes defeat she will ensure that Bama is unelectable so that she can make one more run in 2012.
Don't beleive me? Wait and see mate.

You think? I don't think she would run again. That is why she is giving all she's got this time around? NO?

Don't beleive me? Wait and see mate.I really don't think they are going to allow the Clintons to destroy the party, which you correctly ascertain they would do. The Clintons are like the guests that won't leave the party no matter how much you yawn and look at your watch!

I don't think she wants to do this again but if she can't get the nod she will make plans for 2012. This is it for Hill, her dream. Yes, I think she will sabotage Bama to the point he can't win and then plan for 2012. Hell, chickie, she already said McCain would make a better CinC than Bama.

She's just trying to regain the $13 Million dollars of debt, including her own $5 Million. She has to make it appear she's going all out to keep those donations coming. The great cry of the doomed is "I will continue to run!".

I guess we shall see...time will tell.
Maybe the next time around she will get it straight and dump that loser of a husband...at least then she would show America she has some self respect.
