Bisons start season by pounding the ball

A nice 9-4 win for the Bisons. I only listened to the game and was only really half paying attention while watching our hockey teams season come to a crashing end. But it sounded like the Bisons teams of past years, lots of offense, good pitching and suspect defense. A nice start for Josh Barfield and Jordan Brown. Yeah there are 143 more games to go but this brings a little smile to my face after the happenings on the ice.

Jordan Brown can flat out hit. He has been league MVP in the Carolina League and the Eastern League the last two years. He probably will only hit between 15 and 20 homeruns, but he will probably bat near .330.
