View Full Version : Next generation government spying: A simple way to end crime and terror for all time

In 1999, researchers recorded the visual neuron firings in a cat brain. They decoded the signal with a simple algorithm and reproduced movie images that the cat watched.

So here's my idea, eventually we'll be able to require people to have visual and auditory recording chips implanted into their heads. Talk about crime deterrence, who would even think about committing a crime when their sight and sounds were recorded and saved into police databases accessible in real time.
Oh, and let's not even begin to underestimate the implications to the war on terror. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.
Let's just hope the technology is available for Patriot Act III.

I think it's a groovy idea. Who cares about ANY privacy at all. Afterall, we're fighting a war on crime, a war on drugs, and a war on terror!
Gotta win those wars you know. The first two have been a smashing success so why would we expect the War on CIA-da to take any more time to win?

The war on terror is real the others are semantics.

It's a war against you alright.
But these terrorists are so clever that they've disguised themselves as arabs.

think about it uppy, if we could record every muslim's vision and filter it through a warning system, we'd know what every potential terrorist was doing at the moment they were doing it.

And if you had no thoughts to hide then why would you be opposed to it, right?
Plus there is nothing in the Constitution that says that the government can't read your brain.
I know. I've read it.

Think about it, if the government has the right to know what books you're reading, who you're talking to, and what webpages you look at, why don't they have the right to record everything you see and hear?
Hell, why not even learn how to record everyone's thoughts. Think about how that would play in a court of law.

We'd stop child abduction, terrorists, and drug smuggling too.
I think it's the best thing to come down the pike since the invention of this:

How do we market and sell this idea so that the people take these shackles with an enthusiastic zeal?
How about an ad where a loving father holds his beautiful little girl, with the suggestion in the background that if the authorities are not allowed to read your brain, then they can't read the child abductor's brain either? And then subtly suggest that your daughter might be abducted and killed and it's YOUR fault! *cue dissonant, frightful background music*
Then, we switch gears...
We could play this music in the background with the banner waving so proudly.
If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to JUST BE ALIVE today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for SECURITY,
and THANK GOD THEY HAVEN'T TAKEN that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I GET BRAINSCANNED FOR FREE.
And I wont forget the men who died IN VAIN TO GIVE MY PRIVILEGES TO me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend MY OWN CHAINS TODAY.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I'M BRAINWASHED TO love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say. (LOOK AT THOSE F-16's!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!)
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died IN VAIN TO GIVE MY PRIVILEGES TO me.
..yakity yakity yak....
I think we need to market this K-Gun. We've sold bigger Bills of Goods to the suckers. This one ought to be easy.

K-Gun.
I really like your idea. I think it's a wonderful way to unite America.
Safety is what America is all about!
That, and falling prices at Walmart.
