ORLANDO, Fla. -- A recent survey that found some Florida teens believe drinking a cap of bleach will prevent HIV and a shot of Mountain Dew will stop pregnancy has prompted lawmakers to push for an overhaul of sex education in the state.

The survey showed that Florida teens also believe that smoking marijuana will prevent a person from getting pregnant.

State lawmakers said the myths are spreading because of Florida's abstinence-only sex education, Local 6 reported.

No seriously - I was very athletic growing up.

I played tennis, beach volleyball, softball.

We drank a little here and there on the weekends when we had no tournaments, games, or pratice.

The same can be said for California. Their education system ONLY teaches abstinence, and kids are getting knocked up everywhere. In one class of 40 (while I was teaching out there), I had 7 girls who were pregnant.

Center of the state is more southern than Alabama. There are some really dumb hicks down here.

I'd say the corridor between Tampa and Orlando. Then 75 North of Tampa through Fagsville (Gainsville) to the border, and pretty much the entire Redneck Riveria (Panhandle).

Tampa/St. Pete, Sarasota, Ft. Myers are retirees, Miami-Dade is a satellite of Haiti and South America, Broward and a good part of Palm Beach County are Jew Heaven, West Palm is all corporate execs and the owners of the United States LLC.

The flower-children retired in the Keys when land was cheap.

Save a certain West cost coach, I'm the only sane mother bleeper in the state. LOL.
