As loaded as the pitching staff is, the outfield may be the strong point when it comes to the bats.

Back is Ben "The Franchise" Francisco, who made his mark in Cleveland last year but lost out in a numbers game. Word around the ballpark was Francisco was not happy to be back last year after his time in Cleveland, so he could be really mad about being back down again. But he won the batting championship last year so he did not let that effect his play.

Joining Francisco in the outfield will be Jordan Brown, who has won back to back MVP's in the Single A Carolina League in '06 and the Double A Eastern League in '07. Brown has had an impressive spring and should be a stud in the outfield right away.

Brad Snyder had a strong season going for the Herd last year when he got hurt, and then the Bisons season fell apart. Also back is former Bison Jason Tyner, who was a member of the 2004 championship team. Tyner is a guy with no power, but he can flat out fly. He forces teams into errors because of his speed.

Jason Cooper returns to the Herd for another season. It seems like Cooper has been here forever, yet he is always a quality player.

The hardest part of Torey Louvello's job may be finding playing time for all the players. I am sure you will see four outfielders playing, with one guy being the DH. I suspect Francisco will be called up if Cleveland has an injury or the Michaels/Dellucci platoon struggles.
