All tickets for shows go on sale on March 29th.
http://tourdates.davematthewsband.com/

Tues 6/17 is the Darien lake show. I plan on attending with lots of my friends. Anyone who wants to meet up to tailgate or can't find anyone to go with, drop me a p.m. and you can meet up with me.

If anyone likes DMB and wants to see them on the road, go to the Saratoga Springs concert. Its great there and its 2 days!

And for all the underage drinkers. Don't go to the Ohio shows. They have a strict laws about open beverage containers and underage drinking.

Im going to SPAC, will be my 9th year in a row going there. And add PA to the list of places for the underagers not to go, we got busted a couple years ago there and they made us pour out all our booze.

Wow you were lucky. Last year my buddy went to the Ohio one. Got caught for underage drinking. They gave him an appearence ticket. he had to go back to Ohio to get araigned, then had to go back a 2 weeks later to see the judge.

Shitty...all of us were a couple months away from being 21 so I guess they let it slide but I did see some kids getting tickets although I think they were probably 16-18 range.

Ohh....my....Gosh.

I saw this thread, and immediately got excited. lol. I loveloveloveeee Dave. Favorite band since I was about 4 years old. I'm praying to get tickets for the concert at Darien. I have a feeling they'll be sold out, or I'll end up getting lawn seats because all the Warehouse members ordered their tickets already.

I'm hoping to get 2-3 tickets, but I don't even know who I'd take. lol. None of my friends like DMB. But I'm sure I'll be able to find people to drag along with me. I'm kind of nervous though, I haven't been to a "real" Dave Matthews Band concert. My first show was this past November for that "Worlds Loudest Pep Rally" thing, and it was a really small venue, about 2,000 people. I just hope their aren't too many mushroom heads at "normal" Dave concerts, that would make me uncomfortable. :)

Oh, and does anyone know where I could physically go and get tickets, instead of online? There’s a virus on my computer, and I’m getting it fixed next week, so I don’t want to use my credit card on here. I think Macys is associated with Ticketmaster? Anyone know?

Lawnseats are good at darien lake. You can drink and smoke(if your into that) all concert long the tailgating is awesome. So many people are on the lawn. You can go from spot to spot seeing all the people. Not many people are tripping at the concerts, there are a few though. its mostly pot and alcohol. Cops really don't bother you, they let it slide. Unless if your in the main parking lot. I think Tops or a wegmans will sell them. I'm pretty sure Tops does. It's a great time though you will have fun. Even if the people your going with don't like Dave the atmosphere is great.

Ew, smoking. Yuck. No with my asthma and cigarette allergies. lol
Lawn seats are just soo far away though. At west point, I was so close, I could see Dave sweat profusely. I went to that concert my myself. I met some people in the taxi ride to the concert, and in the lobby, and had a blast. So the lawn seats would be more the party area than the pavilion seats?

Lawn sucks at any DMB show. You get too many high school kids who think its just the cool thing to do on a summer night. You can drink and smoke all you want in the pavilion just don't be stupid about it.

About the tickets being available it shouldn't be a problem, Darien never sells out quick.

And I'll be at Darien and SPAC...

Here's to DMB back at Darien this summer!

Yeah, I was going to head down to the galleria saturday morning with my lovely mother. I called Tops, and they said they didn't have tickets, and I doubt Wegmans would have them. Are you going to Macys? A couple years ago when I got Goo Goo Dolls tickets, that's where I went, but I'm not sure if they'd have Dave tickets. I'll call there later today and ask.

OK, I just called Macy's...They'll have the tickets downstairs by customer service... Problem though, tickets go on sale at 10, mall doesn't open 'til 10. I can't order tickets online. WTF. Maybe I'll try by phone also while I'm at Macy's?

I've actually only had positive experiences in the lawn at DMB except for last year. We usually get up as close as we can on the lawn but for whatever reason last year we were in the middle of the lawn, and it was terrible. The people around me, mostly high school girls, didn't stop talking about anything and everything BESIDES the show the entire time. Just mindless chatter literally the entire sow, with a lot of pictures of themselves being taken in between. So anyway, if you get lawn seats and are actually there for the show get up close with the rest of the real fans. I'm still bitter as you can see haha.

Lawn doesn't bother me. Yeah you always get the little teenage girls there, but its fun walking around a few parties and talking to a bunch of DMB fans. I use to smoke back in highschool and it was fun go to place to place and smoking up with different people. I don't do that anymore so I'll probably get pavilion tickets. And I can drink legally so I won't have any problem with the law. What sucks is I got work till 12 on sat. I hope i get good seats.

I'm teenage girl but I promise, if we're all stuck on the lawn, I WILL NOT be one of those annoying little girls. I'll be getting as close to the front as possible. Those type of people bug me so much, they're probably the same girls who go to Sabres games with "Omg Marry Me Pommerz" signs. I'll hopefully be around people who actually know the words to each song.

Good. So your not the type of a girl that is all bubbly and says " like yeah, like you know, Like like like yeah" Those kinds of things?
Teenager? How old are you?

Well, I'm kind of bubbly...mostly shy at first. I admit I can say 'like' too much. when I do, I have friends point it out and make me stop. :)
And I'm 18.

Yah getting up front is the way to go. Anywhere else your subject to what you experienced. I'd rather not go than sit on the lawn...

I just got my tickets ordered today... section 10. As for the tailgating thing I have no idea what my plans are... I usually don't get to SPAC until right before the show cuz I have a cottage in the area.
