A lot of you are knee-jerking idiots that would have left The Comeback at halftime. I'm glad to say I'm not one of them.

This is why they play 60 minutes!!

I'm a knee-jerking idiot, but I don't leave sporting events early.

Nevertheless, I propose 1 ounce of human vomit shall be dumped on Carl J. Ironsides in the town square rather than the more conventional 2 ounces.

I can't believe I missed this game.

But being at an NIT basketball game was pretty damn good too. Oh well. Thank God for DVR.

Don't sweat it, Captain Ironsides. Just remember this game if our Brewbisons are in a tough hole and step up like your hybrid hero Jochon Hechtinville.

Going to a good college basketball beats sitting on my ass, watching the Sabres, and being super sad that I was getting database errors on the shoutbox. Especially considering my blood pressure for the first two periods. Blow me.

Better than watching the Sabres? No, but college basketball games are fun to attend. My first year at UB (the year they lost the MAC at the buzzer) was so much fun.

To each his own folks, don't get your panties in a bunch.

Now, I'd much rather go see the Sabres live than go to a college basketball game, but I'm sorry. Gotta support my school as they show why they should have been picked for the tourney. 15 for 15 from the field to start the first half is pretty damn impressive and something I'll probably never see again in my life. So I'll say it's a trade off.

i'm a superstitious son-of-a-b. if the sabres are doing good, i don't change a thing. i don't change the channel, volume, my seat position, etc.

if they are losing, i need to switch it up. i'll get up to go to the bathroom, get food, change the channel up/down and then back quickly, change seats.

tonight, after it was 4-1, i knew the second period was coming to an end, so i played a few songs on "rock band". as soon as i turned off the 360 and the tv back to the sabres game, within 5 seconds, pomminville scored to make it 4-2.
