Between Sekera and Weber, I'm stepping back from the ledge on next season's defense corps. Funk hasn't been horrible either.

I'm already for next season. They'll be growing pains, but come the playoffs we are going to be deadly

Funk was average tonight, then ended up on the bench. But I like what I see from him still.

I'll say him and sekera have been the spark that has made us great the last few games.

Weber has great hockey sense. I know Ruff is seeing this.
Plus, so far everyone Ive seen look this guy in the eyes backs down with fear. Weber looks crazy.

I bet he can grow a mean playoff beard too. Here's hoping.

Plus-?
The proper way to write out plus/minus includes "-" between the word and number. As a journalism aficionado, I am a stickler for these things.

Would it be creepy if I drove the couple of miles to his boyhood home and just sort of touched the house?

Sekera almost had a goal when he joined the rush. I think he just missed tipping in the Bernier pass.

One consistent trend over the past 3 years is we've had young guys step up and really turn into impressive players.
Vanek and Pominville in 06, Stafford and Gaustad in 07, Kaleta and Weber this year.
Obviously there have been others, but these guys have been huge.

Oh no, who will pick up Campbell's icetime and how will the Sabres ever score goals again?
