From what I understand, this preacher is based in Harlem, close by to a....Clinton campaign office! He spoke in tongues this Sunday:<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LHU_f68r7o8&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LHU_f68r7o8&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

"The Honorable James David Manning, Phd" reports that God told him what people should eat. "we should eat every day, at least one banana, one potato, and some
carrots, along with apples and onions." He also states, "As you know, we don’t eat pork; for it has no nutritional value, but instead is filled with diseases. And when it sits in your stomach or intestine, your entire vital germ fighting blood cells is busy fighting
against it until it goes out in the draught. But while they are fighting the pork, other diseases flourish in other parts of the body, and as the heart races to pump blood to other parts; your pressure builds up and sometimes explodes."

Another interesting feature of this guy's website is his report on false prophets. He names some guys that most Christians agree have brought embarrassment upon themselves and upon the Christian church, people like Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggert, and Ted Haggard. He also lists some of the very successful TV preachers who have become wealthy on the donations of people who send in money thinking they are advancing the gospel. I don't know that I would go so far as to name them false prophets, but I wouldn't put them on my list of favorite preachers either. He goes on to name every denomination that has begun since the reformation as a "bastard" or false church. Of course my denomination is included. His rationale is that they are not promoting the unity of the church. Aside from the fact that I have always enjoyed fellowship with believers of other denominations, including Catholic, it strikes me as odd that the Honorable James David Manning, Phd. manages to exclude himself as a false prophet, since he apparently has nothing to do with the Catholic Church. What is more antithetical to unity in the church than calling virtually everyone you don't like a "false prophet?"

BTW, Hillary Clinton's denomination (or at least the one from which she came) is the same as mine and also George Bush's. That would seem to mean that The Honorable James David Manning feels Hillary's religious loyalty is to bastard Christianity.

The bottom line is that this looney toon character is so full of himself and so guilty of that of which he accuses everyone else that any who take him seriously should have their heads examined.
