Kevyn Adams who grew up here in WNY is a Cane and an important player on their team.

Cole has really impressed me. I ate at a restaurant all the time that K Adms use to work at. He was either working or playing hockey back then. Solid dude!

Duff,
Kevyn Adams played 52 games as a Leaf and only got 13 points.

yeah so rude!! i never said he was an offensive threat, read what i said rude!! sometimes i question your hockey knowledge buddy. garry valk has played probably 200 leaf games and has about 50 points, does that mean he is no good?
May 16th, 2002, 1:26:20 PM
You question my knowledge? Ha. What a joke.

where did your post go rude?
May 16th, 2002, 1:48:48 PM
You sure do. Owen going down hill? lmao. Even with a bruised hip he was the second best player on the ice last night. It aint always what the scorecard says that determines your worth. But a small guy with 13 points over 52 games just isn't worth keeping, IMO, and the Leafs felt the same way.

Yuo really wanna talk workhorses? Gary Roberts. A workhorse that produces.
Obviously there are too many players in the league. Sure these guys might be big and might be able to skate like the wind, but are they truly great hockey players?

what are you talking about man. comparing gary roberts to kevyn adams is ludicrous. all i am saying is he is a good defensive player with grit, and nolan is going downhill, he had a bad year, what did he do at the olympics?? i love the guy but i wouldn't rank him in the top 10 anymore. you know why he isn't on the leafs anymore? i bet you don't!
May 16th, 2002, 1:58:55 PM
Workhorses should produce. Just becuase Robert is a workhorse that produces it's not fair to compare him?
I live in MI, so no I don't. But I also don't care. It's put up or shut up.

Never said I was the only one who knows hockey, but I do know something about it.
Some people, and I'm not pointing fingers, only see stats and trophys whiole failoing to see the big picture. You have to consider that big picture. That's what I try to do and that's why takes differ from some on this board.
I do know one thing though, Owen Nolan is tremendous with and withou the puck, stats or no stats, this guy can control the game in the offensive end as well as anybody in the game. Off hand, I'd only list Forsberg above him. That's MY opinion.
Waiting for the attacks....

roberts is a workhorse who plays on the 1st line, adams plays on the 4th. you know who else played on the 4th?? mccaculey! look at him now rude! can't compare them sorry bud, how can you compare a guy that gets 25 minutes of ice to a guy that gets 7 minutes?????? Adams was taken in the expansion draft!

nolan is a great player no doubht, forsberg is miles ahead if him in my books. forsberg whne healthy his the best player in the world! Nolan has dropped off recently but i hope he comes back
