Posted this in the GDT but no one looks at that so started my own.

Did some research: There have been 9 previous leap year days since the inception of the Sabres. Of those 9, the Sabres have played on LYD 4 times:

1st In '76 vs LA, Buf won 5-1
2nd was in '80 @ EDM, Buf won 4-2 (thanks Blue sonya)
3rd was in '84 @ CHI, Buf lost 4-3
4th was in '92 @ Pit, Bufa lost 5-2


So 2-2 on LYD. lets make it above .500, or we may have to wait a while to improve our recod.

I say 5-4 on a high energy night.

Thanks! I usually celebrate either the 28th or March 1, whichever is closest to the weekend. Today I'm having a big party so I'm going to party like im 6 haha.

But I believe they also played against Edmonton in 1980 on Feb 29 and won.

But I believe they also played Chicago in 1984 on Feb. 29 and won that game.

I have that listed, but according to what i saw they lost 4-3.
