cheechoo puts san jose up 1-0. campbell gets the second assist.



it's not on any tv channel that i get (no center ice) so i didn't see the goal to know if campbell actually made a good pass or how it happened.

tonight's statistics:

bernier = 2 goals, 1 assist

campbell = 1 assist

edit: they took campbell's first assist away as of 8:37pm.
he was credited with an assist on pavelski's even strength goal 9:06pm

i'm not comparing anything. i just thought some people would want to know what campbell is doing in his first game in san jose.

also, the way you make it sound is that if i were comparing them, how dare i compare a forward and a defenseman. last i checked, the defenseman has 43 points to the forwards 23 points this season. what is your point then?

Soupy isn't dead to everyone on this board? Hes not a sabre anymore.....get over it. Hes GONE....he won't be coming back. If you still love him and want to talk about him go to redline. I can't stand when people do this. especailly with Drury and Briere. These players are gone and are not coming back get over it. And No i don't want to know how there doing. I care about the Sabres and how far they are out of the playoff race.

which is why i said, "i didn't think it would be such a big deal, which it's not to everyone but you." i was exactly right. it's not a big deal to anybody on this board except you. you're trying to make something out of nothing. if someone cares about campbell, they can read this thread to find out how he did tonight. if someone doesn't care about campbell, they can skip this thread. looks like everyone did just that... almost. (btw - you say 4 people posted in this thread, but lack to mention that as of 10pm, 69 people have viewed it).

i guess you're just trying to go tit-for-tat with me now. you said you don't care anymore, yet you still post. make up your mind.

btw - both games are over. i'm done talking about campbell (but i'm sure others aren't), and the sabres won.

Well, he did get a point and did get a good open-ice hit (reminiscent but without the impact of the Umberger hit), and the Sharks PP had their first multi-PP-goal game in a while. There's your FYI.
